Big Sky paint prod ( Clear )

Have any of you tied or use this Clear Big Sky... If so how did it compear to others clears you'ed used...( on nitro boats )...I've heard good things about this prod,but have never used it on my boats,but bought some to try out..Have all ways used CromaClear,but have heard that this was better..??????

I've been using Chroma Clear a very good product for our application in substitution of the D800 PPG.

Don't know much about this new one.Let we know your progress!

Gil this prod is made by Montana ...I used it last night ..They sell several types. The one I used drys in about 1 1/2 2 hours ..It's mixed 1-1 and it sprays real nice and even and leves a real hi luster..Can be rubbed out the next day.. Now I'll have to test it ind see how it stands up to hi nitro....Will let it dry fully for a few days befor I put sone 60% nitro on it.....

did Peter's friend clear the hull?? Or were you able to locate the product yourself??

Hey Roddney I found it at my local Auto paint store...Was going to buy some CromaClear,but thought I'ed try this stuff after hearing how good it was... Will be clearing Peter's Scale next,and maybe wetsanding the old Thrifway and giveing her a new coat too.. You just need to have a can of cleaner ready to clean your paint gun..It doesn't take long for this stuff to set off...

Hey Roy, what boat did you just clear and when is Team Peter and g-friend going to make their debut?

The new Pak is going to get its first coat of clear tomorrow. Sure hope she runs good out of the box......the first test run is going to be Friday at Legg Lake. I'll bring the Duralog just in case it doesn't. The D-log got broadsided at the last race (guess who won in that collision )

Hey Glen..I just cleared the new Thrifway...And finished getting the last bits and piceses to get it in the water...!3 lb RTR... Don't know about Team Peter and Kyroilyn yet..We finish pinting the bottom to night on the Yahoo...I would hate being the one that brodsided the D log hahahah...( Nancy) ?.

Well I tested this New Paint with 60% nitro to day...I accidently spill some nitro on the new paint (clear ) trying to check out the new tanks with fuel...Wiped nice and clean with no stain marks or blistering..I'am a real happy camper now ...I guess I can clear the rest of my Scales with this stuff and not worrie of it not working.....
