Just starting out in the hobby.
I'd like to know a ballpark of what to use as far as props go and what to look for
-first boat is a atlas van lines kit with an ops .65 currently has a prather 250 on it
-second boat is .20 Hydro (not sure what hull) with an OS .20 unknow prop on it

Thanks alot

For the Atlas.. look for a prop that does not provide much lift.. (Like an X prop) on the 20 hydro.. you would want a lifting prop.. like a 1445..

Have fun

The 250 will get you going on the Atlas. X460 or 255 are good user friendly props in that application as well. Have you run the 20 boat with the prop that is on it? As stated above 1445 is a great place to start.

What make hull is the Atlas? What kind of weight ready to run are we working with?
Is it a hard shaft or flex shaft setup?
From experience from back in the day, OPS 67's wouldn't turn much prop.
If I recall X455/3 and X457/2 were the "go to" props back then

Thanks a lot for all the info guys.
I haven't tried any of the boats yet. As far as weight goes, i will have to check I'm very unsure. I believe it's the Dumas kit flex shaft.

Micheal,
X-455, X-457, for the Dumas Atlas Van Lines boat, and the 1445 is a great choice to start with on the 21-Hydro.

Thanks,

Micheal,

I send them all over the world, Canada is no problem.
All are in stock as well.

Thanks,
