It has been a little bit but here are some new pictures. There has been some progress made. The radio box is built but not installed yet. I am expecting to have it painted in the next couple of weeks also.

Steve,

I remember you asking about this a bit ago but have you decided how you are going to control the steering on those outboards?

Snowdog

Nice boat and nicely set up for POWER.

I was clicking through the pics, thinkings ok, same thing, same thing, and got to the last one with the 2 OBs on there and said DAMN, thats going to go like hell.

Yea i remember about the steering bit tooo, you going with a 3302 1/4 servo fut?

LOL Not that i favor them, but its the best servo i have had the best luck with.

and watch causes hell with some.

Remember a boat is meant to get WET. ;) ;) ;)

Tom

SnowDog-

Yeah I have decided to go with a 1/4 scale servo. For the moment I have a Hobbico that I am going to use until I know how it runs and handles. I am robbing everthing form my deep-v seems that it will be out of commision for a while.

Thanks Tom. Sorry about the pic's. I dug up the old post I had on it. I am hoping to get the paint on it real soon. I am hoping to have it done for the Fun Run in June.

My only question now is should I use solid rods for the steering or is the flex cables going to be enough?

I would personally say solid rods.

Thats my own preference tho.

Will work, if you alighn them up and make the 2 motors as 1, mount tougher to steer both.

You talked about the steering,

have you thought about how you are going to link both throttles tougher?

Tom

definately solids with push-pull action, otherwise I think you put al the strain on only the pull rod.

Nice project and I wonder how it turns out to run

Julius

Thanks guys, i think i am going to go with the solid rods. As far as the throttles I have thought of something. I was thinking along the lines of a y-harness. I have a design in mind so you will have to wait to see it once I get it set up. As far as how it runs i should know in the next few weeks i will keep you posted.

Well the front looks cool! The green is so dark, that you can't se the back end. :D It looks like you should have it ready be the fun run!

uh-oh thats it your a state man... showin no love for it  J/k looks good wades right can barely see the back of the boat though

Sorry about not being able to see it real good. I took that picture at 1AM. Anyways here is the boat all together and finished up. I ahd a chance to try a maiden voyage this weekend and things went ok. I have some real tweekeing to do with the engines to get them both to stay running. The weather was pretty crppy so I didn't have a lot of time. When it did run it actually seemed as though it is going ot handle and run nice for me. So here are a few better pictures of it all together that I took tonight while it was still light out.

BTW I want to thank everyone for suggestions on the building of it. I also want to thank shoboat for some nice props for it.

Here is the first pic........
