I am wondering if you had a new set of RC2400 nicads and a new set of GP3300's and used them in the same boat with the same setup. Would the 3300's be faster? I know the runtime would go up but due to the fact I think the 3300's have lower IR's are they by definition a faster battery?

??? ??? ???

The 3300s are much faster because of the lower IR, but to tap into the power the cells have to go into the vehical fairly warm if not they are comparible to the 2400s. A friend of mine Alan was testing a sport hydro a day before the Michigan race and while he was running the boat and on the second lap all of a sudden the boat seemed to have a shot of nitrous and increased speed by atleast 25% just from getting the 3300s up to operating temp. So far the 3300s I have all have performed very well.

I think the 3300's would be faster, but for how long is the question. Does anyone out there know? How long do 3300's last in boat racing?

thanks

Steve
