Hi,
I was really into RC nitro boats when I was in my early teens.
I have a 7.5cc Tunnel with K&B modified outboard and a 7.5cc mono multi (has a worn out k&b 7.5, just ordered a new CBM V5 .45 to put in her). They need a lot of work as they have been sitting on a shelf for nearly 30 years - new radios, new servos, new fuel tanks.
Going back to my roots and getting my board running again.
Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom,,welcome back to the hobby.I came back after 30 yrs myself lol,.I have a few K&b 7.5 inboard engines I ran in a sprintcat, and I also bought a CMB v5 last year lol. You'll be surprised how much the CMB revs compared to the K&B.You might have to prop down a bit, depending on the nitro %
Only problem I had with the CMB, was the carby barrel locating screw and locknut coming loose and the barrel coming out,,so either use some loctite or super strenght araldite like I did lol
Don't over tighten it as it can strip easy,as the screw thread might be truncated and a loose fit in the carby, like mine was.
Most guys here use aftermarket carbs.
cheers from Sydney AU
