Looks like another Crapshooter copy to me..........
Got your calibrated glasses on???? The ones that can analyse any and all angles, widths, materials and lengths from a 2 dimensional photo???

Then again anything that has front sponsons on booms from a small body looks like a crapshooter.... :D

Hell SGs, RoadRunners, Jaguars, Coyotes, Stingers, Mongooses, Hawks, Texans, Avengers, Spiders, Eagles, Hummingbirds, they all lool like another Crapshooter..... Even the new Crapshooters look like crapshooters......

Then again that also just may be a photo of a crapshooter......

:D

EMS Racing I want a Crapshooter... I never had a Crapshooter...

nothing wrong with borrowing from proven designs and refining it! any new design that is competitive will incorporate features of previous proven hulls. there is no denying that those fronts and rears show crapshooter-ish inspiration, but so what? anyone can copy a hull and adjust it to their preferred flavor. if you design something and sell it, it will be copied if there is a demand, period, right or wrong, that's free enterprise.

for the rest of us, that's how great designs are ultimately improved upon... in the crapshooter's case, some would say it is the pinnacle of heat racers B) but they happen to be hard to come by and high priced, so I say bring on the Taipan, my eagle will eat it anyhow :D hehe

hey wasnt the Crapshooter copied off the Bluebird??? LOL

EMS Racing I had a Stinger, SG, Eagle, Avenger/Spider, Hummingbird, Kingcraft... but no Crapshooter.... someone want to donate me one???? :)

*waiting on a few aussies to take the bait.....*

Hey and at least that boat had a cowl that covered the engine.....

Not that other boats dont have that...... but my 'bird' doesnt...

:(

EMS Racing.... Sooking a specialty

Well that particular boat had my engine in it at the time and that's my starter box next to it - but it ain't my boat. I pitted with him at that event.

I do know that the builder has made several major changes to it to try and get it exactly how he wants it - to the point where he has built new boats from scratch as the changes were too extreme to modify the earlier boat.

Here is what i know.

I do indeed have a 45 and 67 boat in stock.. the boats dont look to bad..

Here is a pic of the 60 boat

This winter Big and I will be building a set of 45s for next year. We will also be setting up a 67 hull.

Where are we at with release of the boat..?

Well.. looks like i will have to MFG the turn fins for the boat as none comes with the kit. I will also have to write a setup manual for the hull based on my running of the boat..

As it stands now the boat will be in the $475 range for the 45 hull and no information at this time for the 67.

Grim

Mike,

How are you going to attach the turnfin? I don't see any anchors for them

on the right sponson. How about the 21 boat? I hear the 2116 is working

well on the 45 and the 67 will probably like a 2516 propeller. In testing the

45 is running 75 to 80 MPH not to bad,the 67 should be in the 80's.

Thanks, B)
