Hey Gang,

It's that time of year again... Time for the Atlanta Model Boaters fall brawl... Otherwise known as THE GEORGIA CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!

Race Dates: September 8th & 9th 2007

We are bringing back two special events for the 2007 race.

1) The 3rd Annual F-Mono v/s LSG Mono TITLE FIGHT

A Gas Mono has taken the belt in the title fight for the past two years in a row... Can the Gas guys go 3 for 3?

2) The 2nd Annual Crackerbox ROYAL RUMBLE

Last year local Atlanta racer Romano "BO" Scott was crowned the first ever KING CRACKER after battling the likes of Norman Morton, Butch The Boatman, & Jeff Michad... Will "BO" be able to defend the crown for 2007?

We have also added TWIN RIGGER to the roster for this year. We could love for you guys to come out and race with us. This event is held @ the same location as the ATLANTA SPRING NATIONALS!!! See the attached flyer for details!

See you @ the pond!

Looking forward to the fall classic in Atlanta. Don't think it is going to FEEL like fall by then though. Man it is hot here! :p This will be round two for the Mod-VP boats this year, round one was the Tunnel Champs. This class is wide open for the point chase since the top two places went overseas at the March race.

The first entry arrived in the mail over the weekend. Pat and Birdie Mulvany are stopping through on their way to the Gas Nats in Celina, OH.

Mike Betancourt from Tampa has also said he is coming.

SAME WEEKEND AS THE INDY MASTERS OUCH

SAME WEEKEND AS THE INDY MASTERS OUCH
I know... Labor Day, The Gas Nats, Indy Masters, etc...

Too many things going on in September... We may move the race to August next year just to avoid soooo many conflicts.

Oh yeah! The GA Champs in August... Now that would really drive home the HOTLANTA message!!! We can't push it back to October because the CMB gang up in the Carolina's are part of DXIII too and they have 1st dibbs on the October date.

Hey Gang,

The entries are starting to trickle in for this event!!! There are a few new names that I do not recognize that have come in over the past few days and a few Atlanta regulars as well (Walt Barney, Charles Simmons aka BIG CHUCK, & Billy Gomillion).

The flyer does not reflect it, but we are also offering 2 electric classes this year (Q-Mono and P-Hydro). If you have any interest in running these electric classes please send me a PM as I am handling the electric entries off line @ this time. Electrics of any tpe are also welcome in OPEN OFFSHORE.

If you have any questions just let me know!

Thanks,

L

ROLL CALL!!! Chime in Guys!! I'm coming with a full load of Nitro Monos and 20,40,60 Riggers. Heard from Fred Lumb Jr last night and him and Fred Sr are coming down with all Nitro Mono Classes and a F Rigger at least. 10 Day Forecast is showing 80's by the end of next week which will make for a good weekend to be outside Racing Toy Boats! Who's going and whatcha bringing?!

Looks like you did well Scott. Glad to see the "Miss Brenda" in first place. I know John is happy about that. Deryl looks like he has the hang of things too! What boat did Fred race in Mod-VP?

Thanks for the results.

You can count on that! And Brenda had a big smile on her face too! I got that OER engine cooking at this race and held off the OS on Deryl's.
