Hmmmm...sounds like our new 3657CT/3 would be a good prop for the SV 27. It is a low lifting prop that has a little more pitch than an X440 yet will not load the engine as hard. From our experience with the 50mm props I think it will also reduce chine walk too.

andy,,,keep me posted on that prop,,,would like to try one,,,,,still have yet to put that ss pipe on it,,,,but soon enough,,,,my buddy was all bugged out about the no pressure fitting on the pipe,,,,,, i laughed,,,,drilled a hole in the header and tapped it,,,, and he is like "thats it",,,, it was pretty funny.....guess you had to be there...ill teach him somthin yet...lol....

well i ended up buying one,,,, had too,,, anyway i broke my engine in and ran 60% on that 437/3 i tried on my buddies boat,,, on the 60% o-donnel it ran 37mph every pass....fuel made 2 mph over the 30%,,,, still have yet to try that pipe on my buddies sv...also i have yet to try this x440/3,, hopefully soon.....although i did stuff 2 oz. of lead under the rear of the radio box on both and seemed to help a ton with the high speed passes....
