Larry and I where just talking about you wondering where you live. What you have for toy boats? ?? I no longer have a bike but I can steal the old mans pink bike !!!!

Ted, I hope Your Yamaha Star never looks like this one.

Larry, Hopefully my bike will never look like this, because this was a recall for the V-Stars. In fact; I have to pick-up my wife's bike tonight at the Hitching Post for this very problem. Fuel-line clamps above the Fuel injector tube are bad - causing fuel to leak down onto the exhaust.. :unsure:

I snapped that pic in Custer State Park about 6 years ago. The guy that owned the bike had called 911, and was franticly waiting for the FD amidst a crowd of picture takers and wise crackers commenting about scorched rice and such. He told me it back fired and and caught fire when he started it to leave after stopping to watch the Bison herds. Yamaha engineering and quality control must really be in poor shape if they haven't cured that problem yet. I used to ride the wheels off my Enduro's and YZ's when I was a kid, and never roasted one.
