Back from Huntsville and getting settled in. A month ago Mike L upped the Q OB tunnel SAW mark and we gave it a go but couldn't get there. Over to the ovals Jay hoped to knock our existing Q & S records down from the low 30's we set last year. Got into the 28's 27's and worked them down on Sunday with some great water conditions. By the time it was over Jay had Q at 24.85 and the S at 23.63. (I may be off on the hundreths) Tommy Lees 23.189 with an E nitro tunnel is the only other 23 second OB tunnel run. Now an FE has the second fastest.

Boat was actually our back up. Moved the 200 ICE controller out of my HTV Saturday evening as it wasn't cutting it. Used an older Vision 40 size nitro hull we recently converted. It handles awesome with a Castle 1521/1600kv motor and K&B lower. Dinogy cells all the way. The Q run was a restart after touching a bouy. Was the last run of the day and no time to recharge so laps 3&4 set the record. For S we ran 7 cells as not enough test time on 8 cells.

Looking at all the Q and S records tunnels are in the hunt with anything short of a rigger.

Excellent work Mic and Jay. Those are extremely fast times! Did you try the S Saw record?

We did bump the S SAW up to about 69mph with the Vision. Not set up well as a SAW boat. Still low hanging fruit there. S is capable of a lot more.
