Hey Gang,
Well Mother Nature apparently doesn’t visit www.atlantamodelboaters.com too often… The weather forecast for our first official open water session scheduled for this Sunday (the 17th) calls for an 80% chance of thunderstorms. That does not make for a fun day @ the pond.
With that being said…
OPEN WATER HAS BEEN MOVED TO SATURDAY FEBRUARY 16th…
SATURDAY’S FORECAST: 65 degrees w/ winds of 5-10 MPH (perfect boating weather)…
Let’s plan on getting to the lake around 10AM. Sun buoys need to be cleaned. The main buoys need to be painted and/or replaced, etc… Once the prep is done we will open the pond for practice. I will bring the boom box and audio clock CD in case we have enough people show up to run a few heats in the afternoon.
See you @ the pond!
