air cooled os

Can someone tell me the lenght of the head screws on the air cooled head? The old ones are way too long and they don't seem to list them seperately.

Anyone have the Version 2 manual? On the parts diagram does it show the head screws?

The old ones are M2.6 x 18mm and I think the new ones should be about M2.6 x 10mm.

It's an odd size thread, the same as a Futaba servo horn screw.

Do they list a screw set for it in the manual?

the manual says the screws are M2.6x12mm

Number for these Heatsink Head retaining srcews is 79871040

You can get them from Tower Hobbies for $6.29. Looks like the same screws as used in the new muffler with the extended tuning band if the part number is correct. Search the part number on their website and it will pop up. Good luck....

Tower has one set left but they want $20 to ship it to Canada, I found a couple sets at Phils Hobby shop's ebay store for $5 shipping.
