Mark: Who was running the 1716 prop you're talking about? The only one I can think of who might be was way too busy taking a picture of the bottom of the lake to be bothered to heat race. Fast maybe. Raceable, not at all... I'm sure it's no reflection on the prop though. Set-up might have helped.

Ron,

That was Pat Mull's 21 Hydro taking the picture. If he can ever get that

boat to handle he will be hard to beat. I think that boat needs to be

retired soon anyways. Setup is critical that is for sure. Ron,Pat is like

what Frank Orlic said he doesn't race for a $2.00 Trophy. We just like to

run FAST.

Thanks,

That's why I go to record trials, to see the MAX I can get from stuff. As for races I'd rather run FAST for 6 laps & finish. If you want to show off just lean the crap out of it, it'll go like hell for a lap or two. :p

I don't care about a $2.00 trophy either, I go to race & have a good time with friends. B)

I could maybe get a charge out of boiling the water a few laps but from what I saw at Sumpter, the water wasn't even at a simmer.

Hey Joe,

When my boat hits the water you will see something Fast alright. I hope you

are doing your homework,I can't wait to see that BlackJack run. We will see

who boils the water in Saginaw.

Having Fun Now,

It will be ready for the Nat's. If it survives the Nat's, it will be @ Saginaw.

I ran it stock this weekend on the MAC 21 powered EagleX-1.

Very good prop. A little more lift than 1400's, H-7. I just flatened the strut a little and it worked perfect. Great speed potential.

EagleX-1 ?????? Oh my something new ?????? Won it's first race in Puerto Rico this weekend. See it at the NAMBA nats next week.

Guys,

The 1716 is so far the best prop I've found for 21 hydro. I've tried the 1714, two and three blade, 1716, 1718 (fun but touchy, still working on it), 1814, 1816, S-15, H-7, H-10, 1450 (pitched up), 1445 (also pitched up), 1650 (stock, cut down, pitched up, Barr-cut, you name it, I've done it the the 1650) and several others. I just keep going back to the 1716. Smooth on the launch and throttle transitions. Easy to spin, yet fast in the straight and through the turns. Have I mentioned the fact that I like the 1716? No? Well, let me tell ya....................... You get the idea.....

Thanks. Brad.

I bet it's a straight pipe too!

I know Joe was asking an honest question but it is funny when you "read" it the right way.. ;)

O.K...... if you really need to know the length......................................7.5"!

Tried her with 8.0", but she just wouldn't turn on as well. She really liked 7.5"!! ;)
