I have an old SD-2 subsurface boat that I have been running when time permits in D-3 that works very well for me. I picked the boat up used some time ago and it had its share of war wounds and a nasty repair on a -side water exit- that I just turned a blind eye too- boat ran good was all I cared

in fact Im pretty sure I put clear tape and a glob of West on it and let it eat

So in getting it ready for the Brandon race next month I decided to finally fix the left side- came out okay for a cob painter like myself , now its time to put some fresh love on it

nice boat. I'm close to pulling the trigger on a new, either, SD3-45 or SD3-67/80
Thanks , Not bad for hull # 621 and still kicking - (go ahead Dave)

You will NOT be disappointed , I have owned several and they are a quality boat.

I have SO much fun running this old SSD boat -

unlike the SD boats ,

you have to remember to start driving it around lap 4 when the fuel burns off
