Installed the new oar locks this afternoon. Biggest challenge was getting the old oar locks off the gunnel. The new oar locks slipped right into the existing bolt holes. As can be seen from the photos, a massive improvement!! Thanks Mike. By the way, Mike also makes great turn fins.

That's a good idea. I have some thin wire that would work well for that.
