.45 mac engine what's it worth ?

I bought one last winter and never finished the boat yet and have decided to try and find a new or good used CMB45HR engine for the boat next season.I am a little concerned about the parts availability for the macs even if the PL and bearings from cmb's will fit.

I have a green head valvola and it's been a great engine.

The prevoius owner had told me that Andy Brown worked on his motors and this one had been freshened up By him.

I never had it apart but it feels really smooth and it's been well oiled.

I have been told that they are going for $300.00+ so i thought since it worked for my .21 mac i would ask here.
