If I had a choice I would go with the Crapshooter .

David's JAE looked good in Hobart .

Is anyone racing RRunners in 40 any more ?

Tim

I love Cobra 45 rigger . It is very good and fast Contact to Mike Hallam reason good price ;)

Tim,

The Roadrunners are running very well. The US-1 IMPBA Internats National Championship for 2012 is held by Josh Black running a new Roadrunner with a CMB 45 VAC.

Options are Roadrunner, Crapshooter (but with some delay in getting one), Jag, Cobra, JAE, Eagle, UFO (Crapshooter clone) and some I am forgetting at the moment.

Ralphs New 2012 Xtreme 45 is Very Good. Josh Black has won a few races with his new 45 RR XTREME Powered with a current Vac 45. The UFO 45 is running well. If i ever get all of these twins together i will be running one again myself.

Stu's .45 'Shooter was crazy fast at the Indy Masters. Never seen a .45 pull like that!
Stu's drive to kill me over line on corner  " cheat" so lost my 0 point in 3 heat around

How about some lead time information?.. Like we know... a year or more ( list) for Stu, Taipan's a year... Ralph's a grandfather, so how long?... Bob?.. Andy?.. short kit JAE?... basically how quick could any of them be at my door.... maybe even some prices?.... thanks... Mike

Lead time here for Eagles has been 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, but that is changing now as we are finishing up the last bit of our past two year back log and production is steadily ramping up.

Right now for an 80% 45 boat the time is about 4 weeks.

Congrats to Al Hobbs for his 1st finish at the NAMBA nats and 5th place finish at Hobart against 25 great running riggers. Consistancy?

Al ran an AA .45 powered SGX-2 at both events.

I got an email from Andy this week saying he could have a 90% Eagle kit to me in a month. If you like to build, you can get a JAE kit from ZippKits in a hurry.

I have no experience with the other hulls.

A SGX 45 with a Good Engine is a Great Ride!!!!!! Stu has the 45 vac Hauling ass!!!!!! Careful consideration needs to be paid to the motor mount so you can use the vac 45 carb. If Andy is building New boats the front of the engine mount needs to terminate before the intake hsg. you only need a motor rail approx 2 inches long

I had my worn out MAC45 and CMB45 HR engines. I gave up my Best of one SGX 45 because big problem won't fit rail mounts for my new Picco 45R( hit on boom main and too close at tank) so I had sold it to my good freind " Rob". He got brand new AA45w/ angle carb and he is very happy with it . Al hobbs watched his boat really fast!!! . He said " Big Thank " to me . ;)

We have located the engine mount reward 1/2" to accomodate the VAC style drums. The bolt spacing on the rails is 2" and the rails can be clearenced for most carbs.
