my original eagle (not sg or sgx) is 4 lbs. 2 3/4 oz. may be scratch built & not an eagle, jury's still out on that...........i could prolly get it down to 4 lbs. even, with lighter servos & batteries. i would rather error on the side of more servo & battery power than not enough.

Boaters,

My newest 21 Hydro is 4 lbs 5 ozs. ready to run without fuel.

Weight is not really that big of a deal in race water, aero

profile and drag need to be considered also. If you can get

your boat out of the water and reduce the drag it will run

very well against other lighter boats.

Have Fun Whatever Weight That You Are Running, :D

I see a large variation of weights guys .Mine is 4 lbs and 9 oZ no fuel and i was wondering if I was at a large disadvantage from the lighter ones.I am using a 5port Stock NR that Glenn has set the head clerance on and it runs nice and straight and looks like it ir up nice and high in the water but i do not get to see many to compare to.

I figure it is running around 60 mph, I can slow down, get back up on pipe and take off again.I am running a H4 from Shoboat .I am now going to try a h5 but i may have to pull the pipe some.

Testing tomorrow.
