My Nowicki boat weight is 4 pounds. How do you guys get under 4 pounds? What size batteries are you using? My boat is put together with mainly two sided tape and it's still 4 pounds

Olly:

Aluminum & Nylon Screws, lightening holes in everything aluminum, NO EXCESS glue, light paint job, super light weight wood for reinforcement (cedar), very light cowlings. These are the main things. Up until now, the best that I have been able to get to is just under 3 3/4 lbs.

i hope you guys don't mind me asking but what do your .45 riggers weigh rtr less fuel, mine is 4lbs 10oz

i have not run it yet  i actually thought it was a bit heavy, being my first nitro boat i had nothing else to go off

4 lbs 10 Oz: must be a SAW rigger if that is RTR without fuel.... That would be 2,093 kg

Jacob,

This post should be moved to the 45 Hydro topic.

Your boat should turn well.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
