HI I was about to sharpen the turn fin on my new .21 rigger , am i suppose to sharpen to a point like a knife or only file one side to direct the water inside or outside of the fin, and if so which side <_<

thanks, Rich

Only sharpen the outside edge, leave the inside edge flat. Now there are different ways to sharpen them also. You can go with an angle than does not blend into the turn fin surface like an SGX has or blend the the angle smoothly into the fin surface. You will find each offers it's own characteristics & one may be better than the other on your application. B)

RICH :)
Hey no problem. Like Mike said it's pretty straightforward other than the blending or not blending of sharpened edge. You might want to do 2 fins, one each way & see what you like better. B)
