2024 Dennis Holt Memorial Mini Regatta

Date: June 22nd (Jeferson Country Krueger lake: 101 W JPG Ordinance Dr, Madison, IN)
Race Information: Registration opens April 30th, 2024. Race will take place at Krueger Lake, 101 W Ordinance Dr, Madison, Indiana. We will offer those classes that are considered as points classes for D14 plus four FE classes. FE classes will be run with Madison Club rules and will not be for district points (see attached rules). Three boats to make a trophy class. Registration required by May 30th.
Classes Offered: Entry Fees: $20 FIRST BOAT-----$10.00 ALL OTHER BOATS $10 Junior Entries.

(3) BOATS TO MAKE A TROPHY CLASS – Registration Due May 31th to set classes Pre-Registration is required to guarantee trophies. Registration received after the 30th will be accepted to fill classes.
Race day entries will be taken if a class is already made and there is room on the current heat sheet, but not guaranteed.
Race event buttons will also be provided to all racers sponsored by HydroHerin.
8th Scale (Nitro and FE Combined) and Gas Scale Concourse awards will be given: Sponsored by FatBoyz of Madison
IMPBA Numbers need to be up to date to 2024 information
Scale classes will run three rounds to earn entry into the winner take all final to be run at the end of the day. Top 3 from the final heats will earn the trophies for those classes.
Closed toed shoes and a wristband required in the pit area as a racer and/or coach.
Payment options: Cash day of or mail a check made out to Prop Walkers Model Boat club

FE Power Package Rules for P20, Q40, and 1/8 Scale racing at Madison
P20 Power Package Rules
The P20 package will be applied to any IMPBA B (Nitro) class boat hull. Be it Sport 20, B Tunnel, Mono, or Hydro etc. Classes can be combined or separated as needed. All FE races are 5 laps.
-Power Source: 1 single pack or 2-4S packs in parallel or 2-2S lipo batteries in series.
-Fully charged pack(s) cannot to exceed 16.8 volts.
-ESC: No restrictions
-Motor: Motor cannot be modified, must be under 37x61mm and be from one of the following 4 manufacturers; SSS, Leopard, TP Power, Dynamite(from RTR UL-19)
-KV is optional (too low you’ll be safe but short on RPM and too high creates lots of heat)
-Prop: Prop cannot exceed 45mm in diameter. 2 or 3 blades.
Q40 Power Package Rules
The Q40 package will be applied to any D (nitro) class boat hull. Be it Sport 40, D Tunnel, D mono, D hydro etc. Classes can be combined or separated as needed. All FE races are 5 laps. -Power Source: 1 single pack or 2-6S packs in parallel or 2-3s lipo batteries in series.
-Fully charged pack(s) cannot exceed 25.2 volts.
-ESC: No restrictions
-Motor: Motor cannot be modified, must be under 41x93mm and be from one of the following 3 manufacturers: SSS, Leopard, TP Power -Prop:
-Prop cannot exceed 50mm in diameter. 2 or 3 blades.
FE 1/8 Scale Power Package Rules
FE 1/8 Scale Hydroplanes hulls must meet IMPBA rules for that Class.
All races are 5 laps.
-Power source can be a single 8 cell lipo, 2-8 cell lipos in a parallel configuration or 2-4s lipos In series. Fully charged pack(s) voltage cannot exceed 33.6 volts.
-ESC: No restrictions
-MOTOR: Motor cannot be modified, Must be 850 or 860kv, must be under 41x93mm and be from one of the following 3 manufacturers. SSS, Leopard, TP Power
-PROP: Prop cannot exceed 57mm Diameter. May be of 2 or 3 blades
Race starts using a 1 minute clock. Boats can enter the water at any time during the first 30 seconds and must be moving continuously during the last 30 seconds.
All scoring and penalties will be applied as per IMPBA rules.
