I’m looking for some feedback from all you 1/8 scale racers that will be running one at this year’s Nationals in Vegas.

I’m thinking about running Nitro and FE together, what do you all what to see happen?

I’m only interested to hear from racers that will be entering this race PLEASE.

I'll be running in 1/8 scale nitro.

No doubt you're tempted to put FE together with nitro in order to boost the scale class and that's understandable, but as they are completely different animals, I have zero interest in racing together with FE, so mine is one vote against.

My entry has not been sent in as of yet as I am testing my nitro scale to be sure that I have a boat that runs so my vote should not count at this time. However, I know the speeds of what an FE scale boat is capable of doing following NAMBA battery power rules. A nitro scale would not stand a chance in my opinion even properly set up.

I plan on entering 1/8 scale nitro. Still getting boats ready and deciding what I'm going to enter. My entry won't be submitted until sometime in September. I have no interest in seeing FE and nitro combined.

Was a little bummed out that the trip wasn't going to work out this year but it all came together in the eleventh hour, mailed my registration last week. Not certain of the exact number from D16, but at last count I believe there was 7 or 8 of us making the trip. Can't wait 32 more sleeps! I would expect that over the course of the next week your registrants for Nitro will swell to some healthy levels. No gimmies, going to have to race hard which is the way it should be.

Watch out dudes, the Canadians are on their way!

Oh ya, Robert, we still don't do trolling starts, if you find yourself in the middle of some D16 racers you might want to rethink that strategy, might be a little stressful for you having us blow by you at top speed!!!

Can't say for sure how many but for 8 D16 racers that stated they are going, that should add 50 or so more boats, depending on who has what ready, that should help I would think, as for the rest of the fence sitters out there. Get off your butts and put that entry in the mail!
