2014 Dayton Rc Challenge Race---Canceled!

The Dayton race has been canceled---- We are going to go ahead and have a fun run if anyone is interested---Saturday May 17th. at 10:00 A.M.

Its pretty sad that this race has to be canceled in district 2.The district director needs to look into fixing this problem in getting people there !

Maybe he should start with getting himself onboard..

This is the second year in a row we have had to cancel this race.I think we had maybe 3 entry's outside of our club.If anyone has any suggestions on making this race happen in the future please let us know what we can do--race date,site,etc.

We waited to within 3 days of the race date to cancel.I realize we have different things going on in our everyday life and that this is just a hobby,that said it still takes

time to put these events together.Please try to get entrys in enough in advance ( no matter what club is hosting) so you don't have to try to set up a race in 3 days.

Please respond with any suggestions!!

I just made a post on the celina race post, the "waiting" to see who else enters is race stopper for sure,(re: Charles post)

the cold weather isn't helping. our seasons have changed, cold /rainy is now normal for may.

other large races very close in a few weeks spacing. d-2/ d-14 very busy !!
