I just saw a sneak peek of Maher's new rigger(s), looks pretty bullish to lay a whooping at Hobart.
Saw this at our last club meeting, was hardly run, Jim stole it!Hope this post works OK. After last season I bought a Head Hunter rigger. Made by Mike Hallam. Came with an OPS 45 and a pipe.
Yeah, it looks like my '29 with the '32 front end!Rick,2 1/2 lb tub / 12 oz front sponson's / 2oz rear sponson's / 5 oz cowl ..........
Re-desinged she is Gas ~ 2 1/2 months to build .............
Nice boat.....but......You gotta tell us about your car project in the background. Judging by the engine access panels, must be some kind of old roadster!!!!
Gil,This is my saw Fe rigger (c.f built) equipped with a Neu motor 1527 1D(2300kv) to run on 6S. The nitro version is under construction equipped with a Nova 46.Gill
Wow Mike built modded mix up SGX and JAE twin rigger and run so good MAC84s Good Luck! B)Here's a couple of photos of Mike Hughes's twin that he ran for the first time this past weekend at Twin Lakes, Arlington, WA. Mike hopes to be able to attend Hobart and race this boat. The boat is a Hughes design and not surprisingly it has a MH Hardward turn fin. For it's initial runs, the boat is impressive.
