Julian did a nice job keeping the Roadrunner pointed in the right direction and completeing his heats . There was lots of thrashing going on to keep the boats on the water and running ..especially right in the pits before the three way runoff ! Great pitting with you Julian ..now if we can only get you to bring your own Drywall Screws !!! LOL

If you only knew.................

After the runoff for twin, I got the boat back on the table. During the run, the block that holds the barrel in the left carb flopped out. I noticed the barrel pushed out, and the thrash was on. We grabbed a T handle from Nub, and Sergio pulled the motor lug bolts, David Showers Jr. took the block and re fastened to the carb, and they held for us to complete this. Subsequently, the motor yanked the plug, and Jules grabbed plugs, the Boris meter, and re flowed the motor and we refired it. Good to go.

That is the rest of the story.

Julian, you were calm under fire, knew your mission, and executed the course with precision.

Congrats CHAMP.......... well deserved. It was your day indeed.

Ron, no slouch yourself with a 20+ year old rigger. ;)

Thanks Ray! I looked for you at the race but guess you didnt make it??? The prop you sent did help, still has some hop in it that I am going to try and get taken care of but the boat ran well and finished all 4 heats which is much better than its first race in November where it didnt finish any.
