For both the Super Sport Mono Class and the Classic Thunderboat Class engines may be spot checked through out the whole event and the top 3 high scoring boats will be teched inspected after the 5th round and the last round of National Championship 2 rounds. When they are teched most likely only the jug will be removed to inspect and the piston will be checked for modifications on both the inside and OUTSIDE of the piston "No turning of the piston will be allowed in these 2 classes". As I stated in the first part of the post a spot check may also be performed of any boat, at the CD's descretion, also if someone files a protest a boat. Hope this answers your questions. The SS MONO rules are posted in the JUNE Roostertail they have specifications on certain parts and also what is allowed and not allowed listed too. See you in October.
