20 Mono Pipe

I'd like to know what pipe is being used with an Orlic Nova Rossi in a mono. I'm only interested in real world experiances with this exact motor.

The one's I've seen have the Irwin "S" nitro pipe on it and they turn very good R's with clear consistent staging. Pushing a 20 Hummingbird up into the 75mph range.

I run the AB "S" quiet pipe with very good results on a similarly timed motor with excellent results. I suspect the same pipe would do well on the Orlic NR.

The S pipe doesn't work well on a mono from what I recall.

Joe: Last time I tested at the pond Frank was there with a Seaducer mono (53mph first time out). One of his motors in it with the OPS 3280 pipe. I questioned the pipe as he had told me the "S" pipe was best for his NR combination. He said the "S" pipe was best for riggers and that the OPS worked well on mono's. That's right from the horses mouth.

Now that I think of it. I ran that same combination at the Seville race. My Orlic NR with 3280 OPS pipe. Worked good for me.

I asked last night. I stand corrected. He knows what it is. Just it isn't made anymore. Knowing Kentley, he probably doesn't know what prop without looking. :lol:
