I think those pipes originally had a small clamp assembly that held it in place… the inlet has o-rings in it if I’m correct..

Uncut header included, pipe has water cooled O ring coupler. I have not seen an aluminum pipe use a clamp, only steel pipes but I certainly could be wrong on that one.

Pretty sure I have one of those pipes and header somewhere … it has a little aluminum strap the sits over one of the water fittings and a set screw that attached it to a block clamped on the header.., if I can find it, I’ll snap a picture..

Sounds like you're talking about a pipe position retainer. I've used those in the past on aluminum pipes.
