well, I'm about 6 to 7 hrs away, just North of Grand Rapids MI. that is kind of close! :p

I wish you were closer... Sure would be nice to get together with a few other guys on saturdays and run together...

Anthony, I'm about 2 1/2 - 3 hours away from you.. Do you have a place to run? Wife and I mainly have .21 tunnels, but there is a Sport 40, 13cc tunnel, a quickie 40 being built. A .12 rigger may be in the works, one never knows. It could be possible for us to come up and run a Saturday or two this summer. We live about a hour away from Louisville, Ky.

What ya doing June 13th? Quite a few of us are heading to Kalamazoo, Mi.. Might be around 4 hour drive, one way.. Should be plenty of .12 riggers running.

Mark...

Hello Don,

I recently moved away from the West side of Indianapolis (unfortunatily... I miss that place alot). I lived there for about 4-5 years and knew several of the club members. I reconize your name from boating, but didn't tie that into the indy club....

Too bad we don't have races like "The Indy Unlimited" anymore..... I was just a 12-13 old kid then.....

LB:

Yup, the Indy unlimited was premier race. Bring what you got, any size, any type and any number of engines. I can rember as many as 200 entries at times from all over the country. Some of the best names in boating. Even our club had the likes of John Ackerman, Martin Davis, Ed Hughey, Greg Huey, Stu Bar, etc, etc. I probably raced in at least 7 of them. It was like a two day Nats only better. The best I ever did was 2nd and the worst was the year I was contest director. :D

Do you rember Westside Hobbies with Dale and Betty? Wow, we boaters sure don't have hebby shops like that any more.

Don

So Anthony, do you think you will be able to make it next weekend to the Fun Run?

Anthony, I would offer to take you with me but my Jeep will be packed with a wife, a dog and who knows what else. We plan to spend another day at some of the little towns on lake Michigan.

Don

I may be able to go. I have to check with the Boss of couse. Sounds like great fun.
