I had my ff12 out this after noon. I've got my props all done up and still the best one I have iis the 215. I also did some mods to my sleeve between runs this time.

I just added the "fang" shaped grooves and chamfered the bottom of the sleeve a little more. Nothing major.

I now can turn the props easier but I have new problems. Tough to start now. I was getting a bit better speeds but started really sagging in the turns after a few runs. Then I realized I was trashing a plug every run. Don't knw if the power lose in the turns was caused by the plug being gone or what. I'm going to take it apart now and make sure I didn't leave out a head shim.

Any suggestions? Do you guys think I should skirt the piston? I've got some good pics on how to do it?

Adding the fangs increased the lungs on the engine -now you need to add some more fuel (richen the HS needle) to use some of your extra capacity.

Also sagging in the turns sometimes means you are opperating below the RPM that your pipe kicks in. Try to lengthen the header 1/4 and try again (This will depend on your pipe, header, engine and prop)

need your snail address to send you a new pair of shoes... Send me a PM
