a brass liner in a 7.5 is a must have IMO is an OS or lawless 3.5, I use teflon

while it is not the cheapest option. I have a supplier who can laser cut what ever thickness head or liner shims you need. let me know if no one has the stock ones and you need something cut. cheers

These are fake plugs last about 2 maybe 3 good runs...the seals are crappy and they discolour (in an OS Sport motor). Definitely worth using proper plugs like genuine OS, Rossi and Odonnel.

While I agree using adaptors on Lawless and OS lower units is not the best for CoG...the motors sit lower on these new units (that I pictured above) than current setups allow...so IMO, you are worrying too much about CoG (as far as height goes) I have been running modified lawless lower units...

Someone is already making lower units using modern methods :) I have been testing for this person and so far so good 😉

Hi Carl, I actually disagree with the high CoG you speak of being an issue...I get the best lap times I have ever seen (on a 21 nitro setup) with my R2104 on a gearbox...handles awesome. Depending on gearing you have a lot of options for props. I am using an OS lower, but a Lawless would also...

i use a drilled out OS water pickup on my 4S stuff...so I would say standard nitro size pickup is OK (as long as it is not restricted like the OS is).
