strut and rudder for 47" delta force mono

I like the 5 inch offset rudder and strut vs stinger: used stinger in the past but have changed these to strut, which I feel is a tad faster / better handling.

how to move coil on quickdraw engine to vertical

It depends if it is a pioneer or older style. for the pioneer there is an ignition plate with a recess so it will clear the bulge of the cast cylinder. Then you also need to use the old keyway ( not the pioneer one) as your ignition tming would be 90 degree off... I bought a second hand QDP...

    New Fiber Rigger

Bigger prop is not always better. Sometimes a tad smaller prop that rev's over peak hp is better: I have had good luck with a pitched up 2814-2 and also 3014-2 worked seem to work well on riggers

Need advise on a gas engine setup for a 60" Apache with twin MHZ Z-drives

Make it as simple as you can: 1 engine per drive and you don't have to worry on cases breaking, losses in gearboxes etc. The speed of these hulls with drives aren't lightspeed: they just look cool and that is what you should expect of it cool looks, but don't count on speed: I see in the...

    Cigarette RC conversion

Sorry only know of european sources but might give you inspiration. I think your best bet would be to look at MHZ Gecko boat. The size is similar and I think you'd be surprised how much you can stuff in. Including a brushless engine ans small lipo pack... Unfortunately no scale drives the...

A/A Engines win at NAVIGA World Championships

Congratulations to Roman!!! ( and you Al) Added difficulty this year were the very warm conditions of nearly 40 degrees. Many guys had troubles getting their engines run right, including some manufacturers teams, so it makes the winner special. Frank's webcam suffered from this heat and gave up...

Seaducer 60/80 methanol to gas conversion

I know Joe, but Lazers are more for endurance and heat racing, while the seaducer also has very short strakes and a proven track record. Lazer 45 does not get very much higher then 60 no matter how much you tweak, expect more from the little 60/80 (in SAW smaller is better). Here are the...

Seaducer 60/80 methanol to gas conversion

For some time I have been looking for a cheap Seaducer to convert to a SAW mono gasser. Choice for seaducer is obvious as it is about the fastest mono you can buy with many SAW records. I don't want to spend too much on the project, so decided to buy a used hull and no special light lay-up...
