    STOKED!!!

John, You are close on the propeller, but without Charles permission I cannot reveal his performance secrets. It is a client privilege oath that I agreed to 25+-years ago when I started doing propellers for the masses. 🤔 Looking Forward To Season 2024, Mark

    STOKED!!!

Tim, Nice choice with a CMB-45 RS-Goldhead in it. Hopefully we will be able to do some testing in Saginaw together in 2024. Thanks For Sharing, Mark

    Asking for prop recommendations

James, H-30 is .187” bore and the H-32 is .250” bore both run well on the SGX-67. The ABC 2417-19*-38% or 2419-19*-38% will also run well on the SGX-67. The Picco-80 cat will like a X-457/3, X-460/2, or an X-460/3. Have Fun Testing, Mark

Parts For Sale (14) Rossi R7 Glow Plugs

Tim, I have a bunch of Al’s Rossi plugs. I was just telling Peter that Rossi and Novarossi are two separate companies. I ran R-7’s for years in big block engines.

Parts For Sale (14) Rossi R7 Glow Plugs

Peter, Those are just Rossi R-7 cold glow plugs, good for bigger bore engines. They are not Novarossi plugs. Two different companies. We used to run them in OPS 80 and 91 motors before the CMB 1.00 and 1.01’s came out. Good Luck With Your Sale, Mark

    Props Wanted 443/2

Stephen, I would start a 1514-19*-38% or 1514-17*-45% first. It will depend how deep the sponsons are in the air trap. Also, it will depend a lot on how light it runs on the water and the weight distribution on the front sponsons. Thanks For Reading, Mark Sholund

    Props Wanted 443/2

Stephen, One word of caution about copies, they usually don’t work as well as the original. You may want to try an ABC 1714, 1614 or 1514. Much better casting quality with many more pitch and diameter options. Also, if it is like our Sport 20 Hydros here in the United States you may need a...

    Starting from “scratch”

Flemming, I would suggest another MAC-67 if I was you or a CMB-67. Plenty are out there on the used marketplace. It will be a Rocket again. Thanks, Mark Sholund

    80s javelin hull

Surface drive is the correct answer in my opinion as well.

    Props Wanted 443/2

Stephen, What kind of 21-Hydro do you have? Is it a production kit boat or something that someone made up? Lots of questions. What is the weight of the boat, motor being used, fuel ⛽️ %, what tuned pipe on the motor? Any pictures of your boat? Lots of options for a 21-Hydro. Thanks, Mark Sholund

Found Looking for a .21 Seaducer

Fellas, What I find a lot of in the propeller business is, that a lot of boaters are using too much diameter and cup on the trailing edge of the propeller. Once I reduce the diameter and trailing edge cup it seems to wake up the motor and pipe combination. It is like too much load for the...

Found Looking for a .21 Seaducer

Bruce, The 1614/3-15*-65% Chopper is the better of the two ABC 1614/3’s in race water. The Cleaver might be a touch faster, but I think the Chopper runs a better lap time. Nice Boats to pick from fellas. Great deal Bruce. Thanks For Reading, Mark Sholund

    SS 6719/654

Edward, What does the -654 stand for? Curious if that is the average pitch of the blades, and where that is measured on the face of the propeller? Some of the gas propeller measurements are interesting to say the least. Gas is getting popular in our District #2 these days, and it is good to...

    LF for two ABC 2918 10 50

Ronnie, I have a 2917-19*-38% if you need it? I may have plenty of 10*/50% in a box in the RC Marina in my basement. I will 👀 look tomorrow and see what I have in the boxes. If you are going to put them in a twin you should think about 2819-19*-38%’s. Thanks, Mark Sholund

    Disappointed

Jaa, I don’t think you understand what you are talking about. No other company in the last 25-years has designed and produced 300 or more different propellers for model boater’s period. If people cannot say something nice or add something positive to this thread then maybe we should lock it...

District II Challenge Sept. 17th - Rochester Hills Michigan

Bert and other Oakland Wolervine Members, I want to give Rob Betke a Special Shout Out for breaking down a lot of the race set up while the awards were being presented. The Betke family continues to donate a ton of time towards the racing community and I want to thank them personally. Jerry...
