    Leopard 2860 mounting screw depth.

Sounds right to me. Cap screw length is figured for the amount of thread depth. Not oval depth of bolt. IE 4/40 x 1/2 is 1/2 of thread with about 5/8 or so oval length. Mike

    Twins

Taking in the fact that Mark Andersons gets 1100 for his mongrel gas rigger. This is for an 85% boat. If you double that for the twin set up, your looking at 2200 without paint, radio, stuffing box, and drivelines. This for a glass boat with foam/wood sponsons. I would add another 300 to deal...

1994 Hydrofest Smokin' Joe's ML Boatworks build

I sheet decks with 1/32 ply. I usually lay on my decks with some 1oz cloth. It is lite this way. Over time the ply can crack. The cloth helps with this. 1oz does no leave the surface very porous. I usually go over it with palm sander and than lay on a heavy primer coat. Sanding most of that back...

Wax paper is your friend. I have glued a few boats to jigs. Not fun getting it off. I also have built the the front of the jig so it tapers up. Usually cut in 3 sections. Center cowl and either side. I also use some #4 screws to hold down the bottom sheeting. Mike

Tyler Gerrad can answer all your electric questions. I think you might want to go with 8S if you plan on going to NAMBA races. I think IMPBA is still 10S. I dont run 1/8 electric so not really sure on that. Just remembering the **** storm that came about when NAMBA change to 8S. Some else might...

Jake With the ML kits, you dont really get instructions. But it is like a puzzle and it all kind of makes sense. The hard part is the cowling center section area. This is not completely clear as to how to build it. You need to be able to see how it all is going to come together. Some people have...
