we have the same engine in our Winston Eagle Lobster and it runs like a bat out of hell. Probably one of the fastest scales in Norcal. Change the carb to a Os9b and do not modify it. Just set the clearance like tyler said to do. Break it in and she'll run great. We missed the national record...

i believe that's why he is including a second fiberglass cowl so that if you wanted to run a rear exhaust you have a new cowl for that.
