Antennas are fairly easy to replace, they just plug in. The base is not included however, it’s made into the radio. If that is broken a new antenna will hold up a little better but isn’t going to fix the real problem with the radio design

No. The new Futaba’s operate at 6v I believe, compared to the old models running 11+. Performance is not harmed, just better battery tech

Replace the shaft and assembly and it’s a very nice piece. I am impressed, especially considering cost. I’m only worried about how the bullet will affect attitude of the boat. If it handles poorly there is more than enough meat there to get rid of it though.

Ah, now I see what you are saying Greg. I didn’t understand you the first time. It will be going on a Lynx for testing with a .21 nitro unit. Luckily the mount I run now on my lawless is setup the same way so the height is negligible. Have you ran it yet? How do you like it so far?
