    Club site security

Okay, now that I've opend the can of worms regarding forming a new club, how do you guys enforce non-compliant usage of the club facilities..ie, folks who don't want to join the club but will show up during the middle of the week, unsupervised and run while no one is around, thus making all...

    IMPBA vs NAMBA

Perry, Thanks for the reply, in hindsight I went back and edited my original post...I didn't want to come across as putting down Brandon as a club. It was simply just a few giving the whole a bad impression in one particular instance. What you describe is pretty much what I'm looking for at...

    IMPBA vs NAMBA

Thanks for the offer of support Don, maybe at some point we can have an "open house" of sorts and you folks can come check out what we're doing...I'm sure there is a conditional statement in the insurance for something like that. Pretty much it's in agreement in this club that the short term...

    IMPBA vs NAMBA

Ahhh...okay, that kind of fits in with some of the replies I recieved. I still don't get why some folks would rather put there boats in the bathtub and make motor noises rather than just be a little flexible and have a great place to run.....

    IMPBA vs NAMBA

I have a question for you guys. I'm a relative newbie & I've found myself getting involved in a new club that has recently formed in the area. I've been involved with many RC aircraft clubs over the years and have been an officer in pretty much all capacities so I know all to well about the...

    OPS Engine parts

Hey guys, who sells OPS parts these days ?? I broke a water intake nipple off of a 7.5CC inboard head. I was able to drill it out, put a tap in it and gently remove it, but I'm not sure if I should try and make a replacement or purchase one (if it's even available) Bruce

    LIL RASKEL HELP

I don't know the exact speed, but like I said earlier, it runs circles around a modded out Proboat Miss Budweiser, which is SUPPOSED to go around 30-35. I definitly think it's the strut issue, I wound up using Octura parts and had no problem. I did put triangle stock around the perimeter of the...

    LIL RASKEL HELP

I bent it about 30 degrees about 10mm down from the sponson, it had a tendancy to "hop" more in the straightwaways, and would hook and spin out if I overcontrolled in the turn, as it looked like the sponson was digging. I bent it back & relaxed the angle by about 75% and will try it again during...

    LIL RASKEL HELP

Hey Guys, I ran it yesterday, and I must say, I am very pleased with the minimal amount of tweaking I had to do (played with props and jacked the strut all the way up). I had shortened the pipe previous to running it. All I can say for speed is that it absolutely SMOKED my buddy's 1:12 Bud Boat...

    LIL RASKEL HELP

Yeah....that's the airplane experience kicking in....I've always flown a new engine with a long header and started whacking after a couple rich tanks....the lake is behind my house so the distance between me and the Dremel is only about fifty yards...... That was gonna be my next...

    LIL RASKEL HELP

Okay guys...I finished it. Considering all I've been building is airplanes for 15 years, It doesn't look too bad. The paint colors where leftovers....btw..also. I had to put the Octura sticker on the front...had little oops in the paint, If I hadn't have put all the "powered by Microsoft"...
