anybody bought a new 1/8" flexshaft for thier .12 mono and not cut it down yet? ive got one that is cut down for a mono, and it's too small for my rigger, would like to trade if anyone's interested. its a nice new fuller's with a section of hardshaft pre-welded to it.

kevin...ill keep that in mind, dont wanna spend money on an engine till ive got a boat that i know works well, this is my first attempt at an inboard rigger and it's just a scratch-building project.

my .21 mono had a 12 oz sullivan hard tank strapped down with zip ties, just drill holes in the rails and loop a zip tie through, push the tank under the tie, then tighten it ...if you do that, be sure to do one behind the tank to keep it from slipping out in a wipeout.

oh, well in that case i guess ill just run it stock...does it run anywhere near as well as a good .12?

hey, any nitro gurus out there want to try to see what you can do with a KB .18 inboard? B) depending on what you can do i'd probably be willing to pay you for your time just to tinker around.

i beat up the collet on my .21 mono trying to tighten it with wrenches, that was a KB .67 collet. may wanna leave the extra material so the collet has a longer life. Joe

this hull has been brought up as a topic a couple times, i think i may have been the first to, but then again i wasnt on here for the first year or so.......the advice i got from quite a few people was "its not worth saving the extra $$, get a speedmaster or seaducer" thats all i know...

bill, can you send me pics of the header? "What size engine does the two P props are used, or hulls?" not sure what you mean..but the 215 is used [has a little wear along the blades] and the p240 i think was used once, if your interested ill ask the guy who gave it to me and find out. it...

got some props still, anybody want them ill sell them individually or as a group for cheaper. especially anyone at ODMBA [cough, don, preston, cough]. -x442 new -x447 (3) new -p240 worked v. nice -p215 worked v.nice used looking for gas manifold/header or gas props for trade or for sale...

i looked at a bunch of them a while ago....the el lobos seem nicest. i dont think all of them are stepped. bby oval racer might work too, but there's the risk of using ABS like don said. Joe
