Hey guys,

Just got my T4PM TX today and was setting it up. All went well except I can't get the telemetry RX voltage to display on the home screen.

First I updated to the latest software from Futaba
Setup with R304SB RX and as a T-FHSS Normal protocol.
RX ID as well as RX voltage are shown on the Telemetry screen
Telemetry is selected on System/Disp screen
RX indicator and signal strength shown on home screen
All servos function normally on the boat
Have 4 boats with R304SB RX in them and all do not display the voltage

I've scoured the manual to see if I am missing something but all the settings appear to be correct however the RX voltage data will not display on the Home screen where I believe it is supposed to.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Marty

The upper voltage (6.8v) displayed is the TX battery. I would think the RX battery voltage would appear in the lower right box marked " __ __.__V". Correct?

Thanks Tyler,

Marty

Yes, that is correct. At minimum you should see the receiver voltage. Read through the T4PM manual starting at page 122 and see if your settings align.

I read thru those pages again.
The only issue I have is that on the "DISP" menu, only TLMTR, USER, and TIMIR are available selections when using the +/- buttons. "RXVOL" (or any of the others not listed above) are not shown as a selection like it is depicted in the manual screen shot.

I have 4 boats all with the same model R304SB RX and they all have the same issue.

I had a 3PV and that function worked fine for all of them. I know this is going to end up being something stupid that I missed...

Thanks Mike,

Marty

I knew this would be something stupid...

Nowhere that I can find does the manual tell you there are 2 pages of the home screen. I called Futaba and they knew right away what the problem was and said it's a pretty common question for that transmitter.

At the home screen, if you press the + or - button, the screen switches pages that displays a different group of telemetry parameters. Of course, there it was, right in front of me, on the other page. Problem solved...

Thank you all for your input and now we all know what to do the next time, if ever, this comes up. These radios are just getting too complex for their own good...

Thanks,

Marty
