I live in the DFW area and am asking if anyone knows of a local (to me) source for Nitro...either premixed or not and is less than $85.00/gal? Thanks

Woody
Go to vp and get you a 5 gallon nitro 50-50 and buy a gallon of klotz techniplate. Add the oil to the 50-50. You’ll end up with 6 gallons of 40% and spend around $42 a
Gallon

VP lists their 5gal of 50/50 as back ordered.....not available for the last couple of months. I agree it would be my choice. Just wondering if there is any other source?

Thank you so much Danny...I was already aware of the 50/50 offered by VP.... and I have sent an email... calling during the week is not so easy for me.. just waiting on a reply.

James, try hyperfuel in Houston for raw materials to mix your own.

Also, Ritches hobbies (Ritches brew) in Houston… I think they ship UPS..
They will mix any percentage of nitro and oil you need. If you know Ronnie King in Dallas, PM him about it, I know he uses Ritchie’s, and probably can fill you in on how to get some fuel..

Ritchie’s Brew is great fuel ⛽️ especially if you order
the right oil package. We have used his fuel for years
here in District # 2 in the Midwest, and we like the fuel
and the pricing is really good as well. We pick it up at
a hobby show in Toledo, Ohio every Spring.

Great Fuel,

Ritch's Hobbies.....that is a name I have not heard in more than 2 decades. When I lived in Houston, I worked for an auto shop about a block down the road. I purchased the engine for my first RC boat (an OPS 67 super) from them and at the time, it was the only place I bought fuel. If you don't know they are there, you could drive right by. WOW.... thanks for letting me know they are still there. I just might drive down and visit my friend at the shop and stop in and buy some fuel.

Ritch's Brew web site is http://www.ritchsbrew.com/rb.html

Randy Ritch is who runs it. He's in TX, but not sure where. Your best bet is to call him. He's not real good on returning emails. Up until this year, I handled getting the Michigan order together for the guys. It's good fuel, I have never had any engine issues due to fuel going back over 10 years now. He will mix it any way you want with oil content or just tell him you want the same mix he does for us.

I'll PM his number to you.
