I hope you are all starting your testing for the event.. I got out (First time this year) had a great time.. Put 3mph on the sport 40 and got a nice test run in with the sport tunnel.

This is going to be an odd feeling race for me.. I will not be racing a tunnel I have not designed, in over 20 years of racing.. LOL

BUT.. we are in good hands.. (in the end HEED ALL EPOXY WARNINGS!)

So I entered the banquet, got shirt size & 3 boat classes I'm going to mail my funds in later.
Site only shows me as having banquet ticket and shirt size...so what's the deal here ?
 
Sometimes racers are having trouble getting rcracingevents to play fair. Many times, it has been because they are trying to enter with their phone or a tablet. Be patient and try again later. I am NOT an IT guy so I can't tell you why it is happening. We still have plenty of time. If you get irritated just email me and sent a check.

By the rule book YES. However, the speed of the B hydro's is far superior to the A riggers and the wakes they generate would make it very hard for an A rigger to finish a heat.
 
We are one month out from the entry cutoff date for the 2024 International Regatta. Several classes do NOT have the required 8 boats entered to make the requirements for US-1. Please get your entries in.

I Know rcracingevents has been giving you trouble. Email me and send a check if you can't get it to play fair.

In IMPBA clubs have allowed it at times, but to my understanding at a National Event it should never happen. Engine displacement is carried out three places in the rule book. So A ends at .129 B starts at .130. etc etc . This was discussed about F hydro on this site before as it starts at .671 and Mike Schindler even spoke up that a .67 should not run in F hydro as a example. If the rule book states different I haven’t seen it and would be curious for someone to show the rule. Jeff Lutz

You have always been able to do that for many years. It is A-B Hydro, A-B Mono, C-D Hydro and C-D Mono. Now the A hydro was broke out a few years ago to be a class by itself but the A-B class listing stayed the same.

Mark, on the entry it has A hydro and B hydro separately. But just curious, does the rule book allow this? Or is it clubs allowing it?
 
I DON'T UNDERSTAND RACING EVENTS, I'M ON COMPUTER TRYING TO ENETER, BUT NO CLASSES TO ENTER COME UP, JUST SHIRT SIZE...WTF... AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG OR IS OTHERS HAVING TROUBLE TOO ???

Rick, does the 8 boat minimum apply to just the heat racing portion or for all the events?

There are separate entries link for the shirts and banquets and then the events. Keep scrolling down the page and you will see the SAW, 2-lap and heat racing links.

There is a separate listing on RC Racing for each event.
First is banquet and T-shirts
Second listing is SAW events
Third is Oval Timed event
And the last is the heat racing event.
You enter in 3 to 4 separate places.
