I was at Bonneville in September 2018 for the World of Speed event. We saw the Turbinator go by at the 3 mile mark at nearly 400 mph on its way to a 503 mph exit speed. We also saw a world record pedal bicycle run at 90+ mph set by a female cyclist. There are so many super cool machines that run at any of the speed trials at Bonneville. If you ever get a chance to go, I highly recommend it.

I've been interested in the land speed records since the late 1950s. This year I've been following Alex Taylor and her family's run on the C/CBGAltered record. Earlier, her dad built a modern version of Ed Iskenderian's model T coupe with input from Ed himself at 101 years old. Ed personally congratulated Alex on setting the record.

ALEX achieved the record she was going after 235 + mph . Now she went for her AA licensing run, so she can start running even faster vehicles.
