Dose anyone know were I can buy motor mounts that bolt to the bottom of a Shovel nose .45? The boat has no stringers.

Somebody in here I know makes bottom mounted motor mounts for .21's but I don't know about .45's. Possibly Speedmaster's could be adapted or you might have to make a set of engine rails if possible considering if you have the room.

just get some 2x2 alum. angle and mount a stock motor mount to it and the whole thing to the floor.

Go to McMaster Carr and get the right size rubber stand offs. Make your mount plates for the motor. Then bolt them in.

Look in my gallery at the sport 20's

That's how they are mounted. :D

I build them. I have 2 that I make on a regular basis. One is for the PT Sp20 and the other is for the Mutt 2 Sp40. I can adapt the the mount for any angle you would like. The PT comes with a 8 degree and the Mutt with a 2 degree.

I have a similar problem, I bought a Dumas Miss Unlimited 36inch shovel nose and tried to modify it for electric. I changed my mind in the middle of the build. All I did was remove the two inside stringers where the hardwood rails would go. Im going to try and mount my motor this way. I will bolt the 2x2 thru the bottom for strength. Thanks for the idea!
