Hey Rick,

It will perform nicely on a small block sport, thunderboat, rigger, or superboat...

That prop is a very good T-Boat prop. In fact if you ask Jim @ ABC he will tell the same thing. "That is if the one who did the prop did not mess to much with the lift in it". The reason it runs good on a T-Boat is because of how much lift it has. A 2717/2 19* .38 prop will run good on a T-Boat but the bad thing about it, is it has to little lift and a T-Boat traps so much air under the hull that the very low lift 2717/2 19* .38 will let the boat get "flighty". This 2717/3 23* .47 has less cup in the blades so it has more lift and it helps keep the bow down and not let the boat get "airborne".

when you say T-boat you meaning FE correct?

Mike,

I did that for a reason. We are still in
testing and we are still like the way
the boat is cornering. We are starting
to work on a little better lap times now.
Still plenty of testing to come.

Thanks,

Mark

Mike,
I believe that propeller worked the best at
66.55 mm if you would like send it to me
and I will update it with the best numbers
from the other propeller that we kept for
more testing. We found out in testing that
these stock motors do the best with smaller diameters. You can also raise up the strut to achieve the same thing. We are testing a 2819/3 that I cut down next, hopefully today. I think another propeller the 2719/3 may work even better. I am still working on that one in my shop though.

Thanks,

Mark
