Looking to purchase a new remote needle valve for a CBM V5.
I will not be using the needle valve that came with the engine.

Your choices are limited. The best all around is the OS with an adapted base. There is a bunch of people making them but now OS is not making the needle any more. There is the BobViolet and the Russian Needle. Stu has the BV and Al Hobbs for the Russian style. What was in the boat when you got it?

That is a nice unit. That is the OS needle with Champions base like I mention above. Perfect. Reinstall it.

The base the needle sits on is made by quite a few. Champion, REK, DonF, Speedmaster. All work the same, Just different layouts. I have even made some custom ones for a twin.
