Is it just as important to choose prop dogs and other hardware that effects the final balance of the output shaft as it is to spend all the time to carefully balance a prop? Are drive dogs with two opposing set screws more likely to cause less vibration than hardware that is assymectrical(having only one set screw)?what about the flats on the prop shaft? should they oppose each other? While I've seen much discussion about the props, I haven't heard much about the other hardware.

Thanks

The closer to the center line the less effect being out of balance has. Basically you have to stop some where or you would drive yourself nuts.
