Hi,

I'm in need for the insert (the brass part) of the collet on my MAC45, see picture below. Don't know the brand of the collet, Aeromarine perhaps?

I'm also looking for a starter handle for a Sullivan Dynatron 24V starter.

Who can help me out? Can only pay with paypall and must ship to the Netherlands.

Thanks,

Paul,

Yes. you have an Aeromarine colet and there are 2 inserts, a .187 size and a .250 size.

Your photo looks like you have a .187, when you buy them get a few for spares .

Tom.

Tom i know i have the .187 version, but found out aeromarine has a insert with a large pattern? see link1 and one with a small pattern, see link 2.
Can you tell me the difference or perhaps which one i have in the picture?

link 1, large pattern insert

link 2, small pattern insert
The large insert is for the bigger collets. If on the fixed part of the collet (against the flywheel) the hex is a 9/16" wrench size you need the small insert. If it is 5/8" wrench size you need the large insert.

Don, tnx for the info. Checked the collet and it's the 9//16" size, so it must be the small pattern. According to Allan Yuen from who I recently bought the engine, this is your old mac45.
