I have a Shaman, runs like a stray dog with a fire cracker up it's rear with my Nelson on it. It had sponson tip damage when I acquired it from Eric Beaty (about 2 inches on each) so I rebuilt the damaged tips, quality work. I only primered the surfaces (white) cause I did not want to add more weight to the hull than necessary. Oh, I intentionaly made the inboard tip shorter than the outboard for oval racing balance offset, about 3/8s of an inch. Boat is lightning fast, no problems. I honestly think they are only good for SAW, I do not like the way it handles oval course. With that said, I am attached to it and will only part with it for good money. Make me an offer to my personal address, not on here. If it is enough I may sell to you. One offer, no haggling, so decide what it is worth to you and tell me. Your problem with the Shaman is that you over powered it. It was never meant to be a mod 45 boat. It was built for a sport 45 boat, that's it. The Warhead is the mod version for a piped motor. Carl would be the 1st to tell you that also. When I told him that I was going to put my Nelson on my Shaman, he advised me not to.

My Shaman is set up for a rough water .21 mod boat as is most of them out there that I know of.
