I don't know how fancy you want to get but rather than spending a lot of time and money making a prop box I just bought a sewing box that is used for storing spools of thread. It cost me all of $1 at a garage sale, has pegs for the props, a lid, when closed the props don’t come off the pegs, and even has a spot for my prop balancer in the middle. Just cheap plastic but does the job. The only drawback is when I get a lot of really large props in there, they either don’t all fit or the blades sit atop one another so I just got a second box. Check it out, you might like it!
