WTB K&B 3.5 Outboard Engine

I'm looking to pick up a K&B 3.5 outboard engine. It will go on a boat I'm just looking to complete as something fun to run at one of the smaller local ponds. That said, I'm not looking for anything too special or expensive. Anyone have a stock K&B 3.5 outboard in good shape collecting dust that they want to part with?

Chris, I probably got exactly what you need at the shop. I will take some pics of when it I get back. It would be perfect for a non race boat. I got it in with some other stuff as a trade. Looking for $75 for it. Pretty sure it’s even got an extra piston/liner. Give me an hour or two.

Sorry for the delay Chris, got a little distracted. She’s all there for the most part, rotates freely, I know nothing about it, I’ve never run it or opened it up. Comes with an extra good used propshaft, and an extra “modified” piston and sleeve.

only thing obvious to me from the outside is the o-ring between the carb and case isn’t there, and the lower unit bolt in the bottom is too long, as shown in the photos.

Bearings rotate just fine, but have no idea what the internals looks like. Seems to have a good deal at TDC. Not a perfectengine by any means, but I wouldn’t hesitate to fire it up and bolt it on the back of a play boat.

98.5% this is a 12mm crank motor, been over a decade since I’ve messed with the K&Bs though.
